The AIDS Walk/5k Run & Festival

Come to Support, Stay to Explore! AFWM is proud to announce that the 17th annual AIDS Walk/5k Run & Festival has moved to Stanley Park! Now there is even more reason to come out and enjoy the day. As always, the event will include a family friendly walk, timed 5k Run, free and confidential HIV testing, live entertainment and a free picnic lunch. But this year, the walk/run will take place in the beautiful Wildlife Sanctuary, and participants will be able to enjoy the playscapes, dinosaur tracks, basketball courts, soccer fields and multiple gardens and trails. This is one of only two major fundraisers that supports AFWM's work in our community. Register to run! Start a team! 100% of monies raised by walkers and runners provides emergency financial support to our neighbors who are living with HIV/AIDS.
