Behind-the-Scenes Tours: G. Fox & Co., Hartford’s Iconic Department Store

Come browse through the CHS’s collection of G. Fox memorabilia, store displays, and G. Fox & Co. branded products from scotch to toilet paper! Share your own pleasant memories of tea in the Connecticut Room, back-to-school shopping and the holiday decorations that made your visit special. Visit storage and collection areas not normally open to the public, and learn how the CHS preserves the stories of Connecticut. Tours last approximately 1 hour and are appropriate for ages 12 and up.
